In keeping with our founder’s charism “Compassionate love to all especially to the underprivileged”, the Holy Cross Hospital in Kalyan was established in the year 1986 by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, Ingenbhol to meet the health needs of the local community, which is Registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, Kalyan. Our Registration No. is MAH/307/Thane & KDMC/HD/BNHRA/01/75 2004-2005 respectively. Holy Cross Hospital has obtained Entry Level NABH Certification and the Certificate No is PEH-2017-0286.

We welcome one and all irrespective of caste, creed, religion, age sex and socio-economic status to avail themselves of the services of our general hospital.

It is a charitable, non-profit making and voluntary institution. It co-operates with other health care services in the country.

The hospital adapts to the changing needs of the people, it serves and responds to the signs of the times by rendering effective and efficient services within the scope of its objective.

Holy Cross Hospital is an 80 bedded general hospital managed by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross. It was started in the year 1986 for the poor and middle-class families living in around Kalyan with the later development today the hospital serves 24 hours causality services. The hospital provides services through various departments such as General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, Urology, Psychiatrist, Pediatrics, NICU, Orthopedics, Dental, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory, Radiology, Sonography, Endoscopy, etc.

1. We believe that ‘Every person under the sun is our brother and sister’. The patient is the most important person in a hospital and all the healthcare activities are directed to the alleviation of suffering and welfare of the patients without any discrimination of caste, creed, religion, age sex and socio-economic status by following the example of Jesus Christ who went about curing the sick and showing God’s love to all people.
2. The Need of the time is the will of God. An integrated approach to the total well, being of the patient is important by meeting the physical, psychological, spiritual and intellectual needs of the patient through preventive, promotive, curative and restorative aspects of health.
3. In all the activities, patient’s need supersedes every individual interest and in case of a medical emergency, every staff should be willing to do everything possible for the patient’s welfare irrespective of their status.
4. That the prompt and efficient service with love and compassion will provide better cure to the patients.
5. That the hospital can render total quality care to the patients only through recruiting deeply committed personnel who are qualified, experienced, and service-oriented and have personal characteristics and the ability for teamwork.

7. The personnel shall observe the medical ethics of Catholic Church, legal aspects of Indian Penal code and international code of medical ethics.
8. The organization shall care for its personnel with respect, dignity and love, train, develop and reward them well.

The Goal of Holy Cross Hospital is to provide efficient and effective Medical care with love and compassion, aiming at healing the whole person- physically, psychologically, spiritually and socially by considering the dignity of the person and the needs of the community and witnessing the mandate of Jesus Christ the Divine Healer.
