Holy Cross Hospital, Kalyan, was established in 1986 by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, Ingenbohl, inspired by their founding charism, “Compassionate love to all, especially to the underprivileged.” Since its inception, the hospital has been committed to providing accessible, affordable, and compassionate healthcare to the community.
The hospital is a registered charitable institution under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (Registration Nos. MAH/307/Thane and KDMC/HD/BNHRA/01/75, 2004–2005). As a non-profit and voluntary organization, Holy Cross Hospital serves all individuals with dignity and respect, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender, age, or socio-economic background.
Over the years, Holy Cross Hospital has grown into a trusted healthcare provider while remaining true to its mission of serving the poor and marginalized. Today, Holy Cross Hospital is an 80-bed multi-specialty healthcare institution offering comprehensive medical care and 24-hour emergency services. The hospital is recognized for its commitment to quality and patient safety and has been awarded Entry-Level NABH Certification (Certificate No. PEH-2017-0286).
